Weigh-en me down.

Thanks to Plus Size Bloggers I am on a quest. My quest is to loose weight. I have done just about EVERY diet you can think of. From Jenny Craig, to diet pills. One diet has worked for me. Medifast. I love this program. But I am NOT starting it right now. (I am very sad about this) I am going to start it in April. Hopefully. Medifast is awesome and it works. I just don’t have the money right this second to buy it. So for the month of March I am going to start cutting out certain things like. Soda. I craved soda when I was Pregnant with Paisley. I drank it during her pregnancy and then stopped after I had her in March of 09. Then after I had Declan in January of 10 they gave me soda to rid the headaches in the hospital. Well the headaches have stopped but the soda drinking hasn’t. So my quest this week it to get rid of the soda. Here is hoping I haven’t been drinking enough to give me headaches.

I used to set my long term goal weight but it seamed so unreachable. So I no longer do this. I set short term goals of 10lbs-20lbs at a time. Or even a size that I want to reach. So my goal for now is to get into my normal cloths. Which for my having 4 kids and 2 of them in the past year means getting into my “fat” cloths that I packed away a few years ago.  Right now it is maybe 10lbs to loose. I want to be in those by the end of the month. Here is hoping.

  2. I like your idea about small goals. One thing I am also doing different is just not thinking that much of the “goal” other than better health. I sure know what you mean about money. I am doing the Raw Food Diet and boy is it expensive. I used to be the QUEEN of saving money with food. I can stretch a dollar like you would not believe. I was spending only 50 a WEEK to feed my current family of four (have four daughters but only two now live at home). Now I’m spending about 250 a week! ack. BUT we are all getting healthier so I suppose in the end it will be cheaper? (less illness) I hope!

Best wishes to you and I know 2010 is going to be our year to all GET healthy!
